I would give this a 3.5 if I could. I have a lot of mixed feelings about this book. I enjoyed the story line and the way the author took you back to the day of the murder with each person's point of view. But I felt like there was a lot of fluff that was unnecessary and I prefer books to get to the point. I also don't enjoy gore and especially hate anything with animal cruelty. So I found myself skimming parts like that. It wasn't as suspenseful as I had hoped - but it did keep me guessing, and I didn't know 'who dunnit' until the end.
