I have come to the conclusion that I am just not a big fan of this author's writing. This is the second book I've read by her that was just mediocre, and although it was enjoyable at times, I found myself skimming to get it finished. The beginning was fantastic and immediately had my attention, but by the halfway point, I was starting to get bored and wishing it was over. I think it's mostly the long winded and unnecessary explaining of everything. I like details, but too many just screams 'cheesy' to me, and there were a lot of times while reading this book that I rolled my eyes.

Once I hit the halfway point, it lost all of it's suspense factor, which made me lose interest immediately, not to mention it became completely predictable as well.

You win some, you lose some. I've learned this author just isn't for me and that's okay!
